Gray Screen

I have seen a lot of postings regarding gray screen, but everything I have seen doesn't fix my gray screen. I have a blueberry G3 iBook. It was running OS 9, I upgraded to 9.2 and than tried to upgrade to 10.1, following the instructions in the software, and that when I got my gray screen. Nothing works in fixing, tried booting off the system restore disks, nothing, tried resetting the pram, tried resetting the logic board, tried resetting all the system settings in open firmware, nothing. It wont boot into safe mode by holding the shift key, won't boot in verbose mode, and won't boot in single mode.

I am willing to try anything to fix it, I have nothing on the computer I need to restore so I will do anything I need.

Are you saying you got no response from the machine when trying to boot from the restore discs?

Pretty much its no response. The cd spins and it sounds like it is doing something, but than it will just shut off. So its not really doing anything.
