The Velocity Duo x2 card is pretty sweet.

Here are some reviews:

Compared to the Sonnet Tempo Pro: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1795421/

Dual boot confirmed:

Where to get the good deal:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812161007

NOTE: There is a $40 rebate for it (expires 10/31/2014).

Rebate form: http://images10.newegg.com/uploadfilesfornewegg/rebate/SH/Apricorn3MIRsOct03Oct3114cd12.pdf

NOTE: The rebate form good for the
• VEL-SOLO-X1 ($25 rebate)
• VEL-SOLO-X2 ($35 rebate)
• VEL-DUO ($40 rebate)

I personally use a Sonnet Tempo Pro card, but I would have purchased the VEL-DUO and save money if I knew about this deal!

If you end up getting one, please post here and let us know how you like it!

How's the performance compared to using Intel Rapid Storage Technology Raid 0, do you know? I have a gaming PC with two Samsung SSD's in Intel RAID 0. Quite speedy, but wondering if the upgrade is worth it.
