Great deal on a iPad 2 32G + 3G

Stopped into Best Buy tonight and noticed they had an open box black 32G + 3G iPad 2.

I asked the clerk if he could open it and it still have everything wrapped. Looked absolutely mint. He said the open box policy is 10% off retail which was $72. Unless I'm mistaken, I thought they typically only took 5% off on Apple products. I verified it was 3G and serial matched the box.

To top that off, he said we are offering another $50 instant savings. The total before tax was $606. I'm not sure where the additional 50 savings came from because I can't find it anywhere in this weeks flyer unless I'm justing missing it.

This was about $125 savings. I'm sure if a huge YMMV.
 
Well, that's great but since you didn't happen to mention which Best Buy you frequent, most folks will have to factor in a plane ticket to take advantage of the deal. :)
 
I actually feel got a great deal on Craigslist. I got the black 32 gb 3G for 600. It ws a bit used but working.. I got home and checked the serial and saw they had apple care on it until 2013. I went to the apple store, complained about light leak and they gave me a new one, no questions asked. It was awesome and I still have apple care till 2013
 
Check out craigslist I actually picked up a mint with box verizon 32gb ipad 2 for 560 with a zagg ful body and smart cover yesterday...

But the deal i missed out on was a guy selling a mint 32gb att no box for 500 on craigslist.. I wasnt able to pick it up for 2 hrs and he sold it about 30 mins, after speaking to him..
 
Yep...first iPad for us. My wife wanted one for international travels.

We get very few iPad 2's that show on Craigslist here. Just received the switch easy canvas case.....very nice.
 
I just snagged a black iPad 2 16gb Verizon for $430 on Craigslist. Some 60 year old man had it... :) It was on 4.3.3, so I jailbroke it and now im going to ebay it for $600. :D

Got mine on CL 4 days after launch. 16gb white Verizon 3G. $425. College kid at UC. His parents sent it to him, he wanted the money more. Right place, right time.
