I saw someone with this case and liked it so I got one too. It works well when you want to use the ipad keyboard as the ipad is easy to remove. The apple case was really hard to remove. Anyway, the case reminds me very much of the Amazon Kindle case, but there are elastic bands to keep the ipad in place - not a locking mechanism like the Kindle. FWIW...
 
It does in my opinion. And it let's me use the iPad naked, which I prefer. The video on the site shows the quality construction and how the edges would protect the iPad in case of a fall.

What I like the most is the scuff marks on the leather after using it a bit. Gives it character. :D
 
I hate cases that use elastic bra straps on the corners. The ones with pressure fit snap in corners are much sleeker.
