I notice there are a lot of SSD questions on here and thought I would add something I have found. I don't think an SSD adds a huge amount to warrant the effort of finding one that supports SATA 1 and also isn't stupidly small. What I have gone for instead is a 10,000 RPM western digital velociraptor drive. You can pick these up on ebay for very little, they have decent storage levels and have significantly sped up my G5 Quad on boot and also general program loading.
