Question for the experienced:
I've bought a ton of mac stuff in the past year and now I've got a handful of cutesie white apple stickers lying around. Where do people actually put these things??? On their fridge? Car? Children? Toss some ideas out for me...

I see a lot of them on cars around town. It's usually on Volkswagons or Priuses (Priusii?), though. You don't see them on F350's for some reason.

Yeah, I though about the car ('99 Tercel), but I'm not much of the bumper-sticker type of guy - I don't see the point of putting stickers on guitars, cars, macs, or anything that people took a lot of time to design well.

On my water bottle.
A grad idea - Ryan Adams (the musician... and not I don't mean Bryan Adams) graces the side of my coffe mug right now, but maybe when i get a new mug the apple will take over.

(And props to Regina - I grew up there)

Yeah, I have it with me all day at work, at the gym, when I'm outside running, playing sports, so I deifnitely make good "use" out of having the sticker there. ;)

Cool, small world! :D  When did you leave, and where are you currently? The east end (and housing in general) have just exploded lately... nice to see, actually...

I grew up in the South-East - University Park. Left in 2004 for Westlock (Alberta - just north of Edmonton)... I wasn't keen on leaving, but work calls.

Cool, I'm living in Gardiner Park right now, right next door... ;)

Yep, Alberta is full of opportunity right now, so I'm sure you're doing well. :)

Anyway, back on topic... ;)

I also put an Apple sticker on the crisper in my fridge where I keep, you guessed it, apples. :D

I've used a couple to "brand" external drives and the like - it looks good with my iMac, since the iMac features an Apple logo front and center - the white stickers on the flat parts of my external DVD case and HDD give the setup a "theme."

I've also seen the white and rainbow Apple stickers on apartment building windows around town, that's kind of cute, too - but to be viewed properly from the street they'd need to be stuck on the outside window pane.

I've actually framed a set of the mid-1990s rainbow Apple logo stickers, just cause I like them and miss the set that came with my Apple //c back in the '80s.

in a scrapbook :p since I only got 2 from my PB and 2 from my stepfather's iPod... it's where I keep all my travel tickets, and all things that are important to me like OUAC number [Ontario Universities' Application Centre] :p hmmm... this should not fall into the wrong hand...

When I got my iMac G4, I bought a white, translucent-ish binder to hold all of my discs in one place. I placed a logo on the front and the back of that binder. I haven't done anything with the other stickers I've got. I need to get a binder to match my Power Mac, but I don't feel like spending a ton of money on a good looking metal binder. :) If I ever do, that's where two more of the logos will go.

For me, I usually post Apple sticker on someone's car who is heavy XP (and anti-mac). :D

Other than that, I have 2 apple stickers on my truck. :D

I put one on the outside of the window where my powerbook sleeps so if there's ever a fire.......

Funny you should say that- I do have a mac sticker and a mac license plate cover that says "think different" on my Prius. :)

360

I put one on top of my xbox 360 removable hard drive. I mean a ms product with power pc chips. It screamed a desire to be "apple-d"

I've got one on my Vespa, one on my DS (got to do something to make it a little less fugly) and one on my messageboard at work.

SAVE THEM! They will be in high demand
should Apple ever put Intel Inside stickers
on their ultra-consumer models, and people
will need the apple stickers to cover those
so no one has to see that mess.

I don't really think it will happen ever, but
if it does, you will wish you had some extras
around! My car has tons of stickers, and I
might use some of my extras there I guess.

A 15-year old Buick with racing stripes?! A Buick is not a race car - you do realize how bad that is, right? :D And nothing beats a 4-door car with a spoiler. You definitely need that spoiler to address down-force, especially when the car is front wheel drive.

Thanks for the laugh, that made my day! :D
