First off, I am aware that this topic may not belong here, but since it involves the iPhone, I thought I should post it here. I just happened to have my iPhone 5c connected to my MBP and I clicked on the coconut battery app on my MBP. Expecting to show the usual, I saw that it had information about the load cycles for my iPhone, too. I never figured out how to track the load cycles without jailbreaking my phone. (I don't want to jailbreak it anyway.)

Yeah, it's pretty damned awesome; I just tried it too when I saw it mentioned in another post.

The Coconut Battery folks must have reverse-engineered the API that Apple's diagnostic tools use. I've always been annoyed at not being able to get this information without jailbreaking, and now I can! Now if I have a perceived battery problem I can check to see if it's really a problem or just usage-related.
