Some great "old" games being re-released this year. Hitting all the right notes for me.
The Shadow of the Colossus remake is outstanding! The game already blew me away on PS2 many years ago, and this shiny new version finally looks the part and controls better, too!
Burnout Paradise was my first ever platinum trophy (I only have 4 today, usually I can't be bothered). Loved that game so much, the only thing it was missing was a proper Crash Mode a la Burnout 3. So I had to buy the remaster and am so looking forward to finding all those shortcuts and billboards again!
Dark Souls is another great pick! Will definitely pick this up.
The only thing missing that would make this year perfect is a Mass Effect Trilogy remake! Update the visuals and the controls (especially ME1, the other two were fine!), and they will sell millions!
