Great Scott! They finally built a Hoverboard!

Did you read the post or just watch the video? There are electromagnets in the podium. Unless you want to go and lay electromagnets and a laser system on every surface on earth I don't see it happening any time soon. Not to mention it only hovered about 2 inches....with no weight on top of it. Place a bag of sugar on that thing and I doubt it'll still be able to hover. It's cool.... I just don't see it progressing to something we can use any time soon.
 
Yeah i read the post and watched the video... but there's no harm in dreaming and wishing and pretending that a fully functioning hoverboard will be made. Besides, I think I am a little too old now to be playing around with those if it were fixed for mass market use.

BTW... i pray to God they dont make flying cars anytime soon. Given the driving skills I see today... if these guys were flying cars to work....:eek:
 
I guess I read your post and thought you were being more serious than you actually were :p :eek:
