Ok so my old "friend" was off by a day but i've been told there were in fact some major " 11/11 " glitches. All is forgiven a day later as this iPhone 3GS has really come alive with 3G. Net, mail, maps.....all the way it was obviously meant to be. I'd say thank you but what's more called for is it's about time, ma bell I mean AT&T. Posted from my local saloon in the middle of nowhere 5 bars strong. Maybe my phone will even work in my house now....? I'll post back once I make back.

I have had 3G coverage with my 16 GB 3GS in Neenah / Appleton / Oshkosh since the 5th of November.

Yeah you hipster valley folk got it a week earlier than those of us up here in the big city. :D Happy to report that my 32 GB 3GS now in fact works great in our new home. Pre 3G I was lucky to get 1 bar in certain spots around home. Now there is a steady 2 or more everywhere. I'm officially off of AT&Ts back - for now - and am more than happy to no longer be crawling along Edge around the Bay area.
