So, if you go to the WWDC Keynote, on the 37th minute they showed the ability to text non iPhone users on our Mac's and iPads. Well, I understand the Mac might need to be updated to Yosemite but why can't we message from our iPad's yet? Isn't that suppose to be a iOS8 thing?

Anyone care their opinion?

Apple has disabled it on their end for iPad and OS X until Yosemite is released in October.
