Why wouldnt it?

Remember, jailbreaking is NOT unlocking, they are separate and distinct. Jailbreaking allows access to the software's file system. The carrier has nothing to do with whether or not a jailbreak will work.

no, what i meant was that its the sim free iphone 4 and wondered if this need unlocking for the sim card to work after jail-breaking?

A sim-free iPhone has no network lock.

That means it can use ANY sim card.

That's why it's called sim-free - Sold without a sim because it can use any sim (your existing sim).

It will not lock via a firmware update. You will never need to worry about unlocking if its a genuine sim-free iPhone.
