TinyUmbrella only preserves baseband for iPhone 4.

The main thing rc6 fixed was the iBooks thing. I use the kindle app so I never even noticed. On my iPhone, I ran rc6 right over rc5 with no issues.

If you want to add the iBooks patch manually, and you have iFile installed, just visit http://a.qoid.us/hunnypot.deb and tab on the "Open in iFile" tab and choose "Installer".

If your jb phone is working, you don't need to do anything.

If irANTHONY wants the latest Greenpois0n he should install RC6 over RC5. Why? It gets the iBook fix and a couple of other minor updates.

Installing RC6 over RC5 is simple and nothing else changes on the iPhone.

If you have iFile, just go to the link I posted from mobile safari to get updated. It takes literally less than 10 seconds to be patched.

Or add repo.insanelyi.com as source and search for "iBooks Fix".

That is for the iBooks patch which I know I can do without upgrading to rc6. However someone mentioned that rc6 also includes some other tweaks so I would still like to know the process for upgrading from rc5=>6.

Taken straight from the changelog for GP RC6.1

- RC6.1: comex 'hunnypot' iBooks fix, don't overwrite animate if it already exist
- RC6: Apple TV 2 support, fixed emulators compatibility issues with greenpois0n

So if you have an iPhone and already jailbroken with RC5, you are only missing hunnypot.
