Hi,

First and foremost, I'm Cole, a new member and a lover for Apple Hardware and software and plan to be here regularly.

All of a sudden, my iPod got grey lines across the top of the display, I set up a service request and am sending it back. BUT i look closer and see a discolouration of black in the touch screen. I didnt do anything to cause this, it sat on my desk all weekend. Will AppleCare care? what will they think?

Can this problem be fixed by replacing the LCD?

Is it less than a year since you bought it ? if yes they probably will accept it and give you a new one - since I had a screen blemish compared to your problem a very minor one- and they simply replaced mine.

Make sure if you do want to go to an apple store make an appointment because they will not replace your ipod on the spot without one ;)
