Grey Import Macbook warranty help

Hi,
There is a Macbook Air I want to buy on Amazon UK but it is a US grey import.
I am not concerned with the US keyboard layout etc but I am really concerned about the Applecare warranty.
If anything goes wrong will I be able to have it repaired in the UK if it’s a grey import?

Apple don't care where it was bought. I bought a US iPod which develpoed a fault, took it to a UK Apple store and they replaced under warranty no problem.
