So i've been told the hard drive is fried so I get the restore disks and try that well i'm in the middle of the restore and it says select destination well I go to select the destination and there is no hard drive there. SO i'm guessing it's fried and needs to be replaced?

Agreed. You could check Disk Utility to see what it says, but I think you're SOL. In the installer, go to Utilities -> Disk Utility.
I'd give Disk Utility a try first. If nothing shows up in there then it's really hosed and not just some filesystem/partition problem.
How do I do this stuff lol I've never had a situation like this so i'm not sure what to do.
Great news guys! I went to the apple store made an appointment. I told him my situation and he said with the situation I had about the hard drive. They were going to replace it for free! So I left it at the apple store and they are going to fix it by the end of today to the end of Saturday. I'm glad they are fixing it for free since I was out of warranty too.
