Grey Restart Screen on 2009 Macbook?

I keep getting a light grey screen that says I need to restart my computer, I've gotten 5 in the past two days. Anyone know why this is happening?
 
That's a "kernel panic". AFAIK it's caused by incompatible software, so if you installed anything lately you should try uninstalling it.
