Obviously we aren't an unbiased group, but what are people's thoughts about the newly announced Grid 10 as an iPad competition? The sharp screen is probably going to pop nicely. Could enough other things work well that they are going to sell a few of these things?

The JooJoo 2? If the Keynote was a hint into the TabCo/Fusion Garage future, then may the LOL's commence.
On saying that, you never know, it could turn out to be an okay product, that could carve out a niche, but they have to deliver a solid product this time, to gain any traction.
At least they had some sense, in stating that the iPad is out of reach, whilst the battle for 'best of the rest' is fair game, in a world of too many 'me too' Android clones.

There are two. One is a 10" tablet pretty much like any of the others out there, and the other is a 4" handheld that could be mistaken for a phone.

"Grid" may apply to the custom UI they've skinned it with to differenciate from the standard honeycomb look.

I'll agree the bezel seems huge. Very photo frame-ish.

Hardware is average. UI/OS is uninspiring and looks cumbersome to me. And that lag and poor transitions do not help it.
