hey guys thinking about gettnig an evolve system, it looks really cool.
juts wondering if anyone knew if i could use it as speakers for my imac?
thanks guys

This is from the website

Evolve is Made for iPod, and is a Made for iPod licensed product. However, the system is designed to allow play from just about any sound component.

Right/left Auxiliary Audio in - female RCA connectors.

Yes if you buy a mini to RCA (under 5 of your measly USD)

Have you thought about an airport express, it does the same thing, plus it's a wireless router, but works through itunes and will sound better than this if you buy an amp and some speakers for it, it's less integrated therefore.

Were you looking for style/integration or audio quality?

well isound quality is nice but im not one of those picky poeple as long as it sounds like my headphones(v-moda) do then its fine.
i thought about the whole airport thing but my imac is run off of wireless and i like the portablilty of the cube, i do homework alot and where ever i can do homework, i can have my beats

thanks for the help

I just picked up the Evolve Speakers at Best Buy and they sound great. I like that I can move them around from room to room. I am using them through airtunes also, and do not see that much sound loss. I do not have a CD player to hook them up to, so can not check the sound quality there though. The build on them is great, real top job.
