Griffin iMic Not Being Detected

I've had a Griffin iMic as a pre-output filter for my speakers for several years, and it's worked without a problem. Recently, I had to unhook everything from my computer and move it temporarily while the room it was in was being renovated. When I hooked everything back up, the iMic failed to work. The system simply isn't detecting it as an output option anymore, and I have no idea why. I've even tried restarting and that didn't do the trick. Anybody have any ideas as to why this might be occurring? Thanks. (I have a first-gen MacPro running OS 10.7.5.)
