i am a preacher wanting to record messages for the radio station. my mic wont work by plugging it into the 'line in' jack and i want a better sound than using a built in mic. mac guy at compusa said id need a griffin imic, plug headset/mic into the mic in jack on imic and then imic into usb port on powerbook. has anyone ever used the imic. how is it compared to using something plugged directly in? any delay, feedback, static, etc...?
thanks

I get a lot of unwanted clicks when I use the iMic. Might be related to other hardware/software influence though. This is on a 700mhz iBook with 256MB and I record with Bias Peak, though I think I also got clicks with Sound Studio.
