Latest update to Griffin Powermate that was supposed to make it fully compatible with Mavericks has had the opposite result for me. Turning the wheel to scroll through page on Safari and other apps is not working. Scroll barely moves or doesn't move at all. Anybody else having this issue?

Same issue with PowerMate and Mavericks

I'm having the same issue. Controlling the light seems to work, however, rotating the knob is pretty useless. To get a response at all requires lots of rotation.

I'm using mine through the keyboard USB which goes through a USB hub. When the keyboard is plugged directly into my MBP, it is better but not good. My setup worked great in Mountain Lion with v3 before upgrading to Mavericks yesterday.

Crazy, because it was touted as a fix for Mavericks compatibility, but it actually broke it for me. I hope Griffin is working on a fix.

I actually just bought the USB powermate after seeing the new version at CES. Unfortunately it seems to have been a mistake given the horrible software drivers for Mavericks.

I sent the support line an email, I am hoping the bluetooth version brings a 3.1 update or something as this thing is useless at the moment, I have to spin the dial at full speed to get it to respond at all, slow movements don't trigger anything.

I'm having problems as well. The update did fix some things for me. For example, before, turning the knob would move the mouse, and pressing the button would be like clicking the mouse. That no longer happens. However, I think long press is still broken. I can't get it to do anything, except for one brief moment in time where it worked. I think it might have something to do with whether the PowerMate software is in the foreground at that time. Additionally, I can't adjust the brightness of the LED on one of my PowerMates (I have two; the other one is fine, but I think they might be different hardware revisions).

Hopefully their commitment to make a Bluetooth version means that they will continue to work on updating the software.

Read elsewhere on the internet to downgrade to previous version. Luckily it was still in my downloads and in fact it is working again. How in the world did Griffin screw that update up like that? smh

Really? The previous version is even worse for me. Turning the knob left of right moves the cursor, and pressing it acts like a click. At least that was fixed for me in the latest update. (I'm running Mavericks, by the way. I'm sure it's fine if you're <= 10.8.)
