The old version had rubber buttons and the dimensions are a bit different. The one with the cutouts is a lot better. The sides are flatter and slimmer and the fit is tighter. I also prefer the exposed buttons over the rubber ones which were harder to press and looked cheap
 
Put a wrap on the antenna band or it will get scratched with these bumper style cases.
