Well I just brought my macbook yesterday, and I notice it didn't have a slot for a sd or mini sd. So I look around the store and found griffin simplifi dock. My question is, is it worth or r there other solutions (better card readers) that I can get?

I'll look into it, $46.99 is way better then $69.99.
If you don't need everything all rolled into one neat thing on your desk, you can pick up just a USB reader for micro SDs pretty cheap (in the $6 shipped range).

I dont know where to get a cheap card reader, but I just recently(1 day ago) got a genuine Apple ipod dock for 10$ CAD including free shipping from ebay. The seller had international shipping for free. I say just look around ebay and you can find some very cheap docks.

simplifi for sale!!

hello all
the simplifi is on sale at griffin website for $35 with free shipping.

A coupon code goodstuff09 cuts 15% off that.

Not bad for price and good reviews.

I am using this one. No need for a card reader.

What do you mean? It is a SD card which converts into a USB adapter. Works perfectly fine on any USB port, inclusive a Macbook.

Doesn't look legit, but that mini SD card reader is pretty dope. I guess I didn't pay close attention to the USB

Actually, it is not even a reader. Technically, it is a MicroSD which is molded into the upper half. When folded up, it is a normal size SD card which you can use in your camera or such. Unfold the USB port and you off with on your Mac.

Unfortunately, previous poster seems to be right. I can't find it anymore on the SanDisk website. However, electronic and camera shops still carry them around my parts (Tokyo). Up to 16GB versions.

Now that's sweet. Just sucks that it will be hard to find.
