Anyone checked out this reviewer of cases?
http://www.mobilereviews-eh.ca/
He's on youtube and I find his reviews helpful.

He uses a 5 point rating. 4.5 is his highest rated cases.
Thule Atmos X3 and Griffin Survivor Core are tied for the best cases.

The Thule case is a well built slim case but didn't like two things:
1. the sides are shaped out in the middle creating a wider case.
2. the front lip is too low

Any feedback on the Survivor Core? Haven't seen one.

I've found the Candyshell grip to be the best for me. He rates it a 4.3.

Appreciate forwarding the info.
Looks like an interesting case due to it's drop rating and slimness.

Interested in comparisons between the Candyshell grip, Survivor Core, Thule Atmos 3X and Rhinoshield case. Or, any personal hands on comparisons.

You're welcome. I believe she shows the Core and Thule together in that video. She's usually on the forums, so maybe she'll comment in this thread.

Do you have a Magpul? If yes, which do you prefer and why Vs. Candyshell grip?

Yes, I have a Magpul clear and really like it.

I can't compare it to the CandyShell, because I've never tried it. I personally don't like the look of the CandyShell, but that's personal personal preference. There are a lot of folks who like that case.

Have you tried: Incipio DualPro, Otterbox Commuter, Thule Atmos X3, Tech21, if yes, how did they compare to the Magpul?

I've tried the Tech21 Evo Mesh and it's a very nice case. It's thinner than the Magpul, but has the flex shock around the bumpers for drop protection. The finish is smooth and will attract fingerprints and smudges.

I have tried the commuter, Thule and Incipio and like all 3 more than the magpul. I thought the magpul was ok nothing special.

Wife has the Tech21 Evo Mesh. She likes it.
It feels good but based on reviews, especially from Aaron (mobilereviews-eh.ca) I would prefer another case due to lack of protection.

For me, the commuter lacked grip and too much bulk.
Incipio DualPro was too slippery. Really like the Thule, but didn't like the extra width around the middle of case due to bulging.

Hi! I'm a huge fan of Aaron at Mobile Reviews Eh--his reviews are are fun to watch and content-heavy. Great case review resource.

I have, and really liked it. If I had to rank them
1. Commuter
2. Thule/CS Grip tied
3. Magpul

Thanks for posting about my review! I already mentioned this in the other post that the OP started about this subject, but I put a new review on YouTube this morning which directly compares the Thule Atmos X3 and the Survivor Core:

I love both the Survivor Core and the Thule Atmos X3--they are my two favorite protective slim cases.

Thanks,

Kristin

Great review. Thank you.
The extra width on the Thule might be a deal breaker and probably returned. Now using and liking the CS grip; have you tried the specks?

The clear back on the griffin is a protection concern.

The inevitable scratching on the back of the CS and being thicker vs the griffin and Thule are it's drawbacks.
According to iLounge, they moved the CS from #1 choice to second behind Incipio NGP. From reading reviews and looking at pics, I'm surprised.
