Does anyone else have so much trouble on the Griffin Survivor iPhone 4 case with pulling away the gasket cover on the camera lens that you're tempted to cut it off?

I have the case for the iPhone 5. The lens cover is quite stiff but I have removed it many times without any problems.

What I did notice about this case is that it shows an oil like smear underneath the clear plastic protector after installing it. It gets worse when you move your fingers on the screen. This occurs after several minutes. I've cleaned both my phone skin (ghostarmor) and the Survivor's plastic clear shield. I am waiting to hear back from Griffin.
