For those of us who still have the 1st Gen iPad
I been looking for a Stand for my iPad and picked up Griffin's A-Frame it is a very well built fold-able stand for the 1st Gen iPad.
The stand folds out and has rubber mounts and surfaces to protect your iPad for getting scratched. The stand is very strong and holds the iPad either in the vertical or horizontal position. I took a couple pic's to show how sits now I can sit back and watch movies without having to stack up a bunch books high.
