I had just reformatted my HD a few weeks ago, and finally started up iPhoto. I had the full resolution pics on my iPod and I was going to import the folder. So here's what I did:

1. Started up iPhoto.
2. Plugged my iPod in.
3. Phone rang, went to answer it.
4. Returned to the computer.
5. Went to iPhoto and into Add to Library ...

Found out my iPod's photo memory had been completely wiped. Why? When I plugged my iPod in, iTunes recognized it and synced music and photos ... iPhoto had nothing in it's library so it promptly deleted all of my pictures while I was off taking care of #3.

Now ... is there any way of getting the images back or is it no use? I'm extremely peeved right now...wish I did that DVD back-up I was thinking of doing -_-
