Group message issues iMessage

I am currently in a rather lengthy group message with myself and two others. Previously I had used iMessage on my iPhone 5 running iOS 7 and my mac running Yosemite. However I also recently logged into my iPad on iOS 7. The problem is only on the iPhone and iPad. On the iPhone there are two conversations for my group message. One for everything that Person A sends and one for everything that Person B sends. I can reply in either one of these and both people get the message. The only difference is that in one group message person A's phone number is used, and in the other it is his email address. How do I go about merging these into one group message?
