So today i got rid of my iPhone 2g and i said i would unlock it for them, well long lived that was lol, i opened Quickpwn, followed instructions
Used this restore file
C:\Documents and Settings\Ross Llewellyn\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates\iPhone1,1_2.1_5F136_Restore.ipsw

Then bootloaders
bl39
bl46

then quick pwn did its shizzle when i selected Unlock iPhone as well as the other options which are

Add Clydia - Replace Boot Logos

Add Installer - Unlock iPhone

Selected all of them except replace boot logos, and all i have now is Different SIM Detected - Please conect to iTunes, How ever the phone can recieve messages and recieve calls.

I must be doing somthing wrong or missing somthing

Someone help as the buyer is getting rather annoyed lol

Thanks Guys
Ross

Since you may have to do a restore/re-Jailbreak anyway you might want to try this. Use iLiberty or Ziphone to downgrade your bootloader to 3.9 (it was a little unclear in your post as to what BL you were on).

I had a similar problem, hooked up to Ziphone and did the downgrade and it was fixed. Might work for you?
