Grrrrrrr...can't save PDF's in Safari (OS X.4)

I'm trying to download a pdf and have no "save linked file to..." option. All I can do is open it in another window and then save it as a html file. "Option + click" doesn't work to automatically download it. I have to download it as html and then convert it to pdf.

Any thoughts? There's got to be an easier way.
