Hi, I know the topic is very straight forward and easy to answer.

I know that GSM unlocked iPhone 8 is fully compatible with T-Mobile and AT&T. However someone just told me that this phone works with Verizon as well.

I'm little lost, and please tell me what the heck I am missing. does that mean that I could sell this GSM phone to verizon owners as well?

Thank you so much.

There's two models of the iPhone 8. One for Global GSM & AT&T and T-Mobile in the US. The other for Verizon/Spring and some far eastern networks.

Yes I know GSM version is for T-mo and AT&T, and CDMA/GSM model is for Verizon and Sprint.
Does that mean that unlocked GSM version of iPhone 8 still works with verizon? I know that 3G won't be available with that model.

Thanks for your response.

I've heard some people were able to use T-mo/AT&T Model on Verizon/Sprint Network, but only on LTE. So if you are in an area where there is 3G, then you will get no service.

Yes, it is true because Verizon did transition CDMA to 4G LTE GSM but not all towers are completed and probably not till 2019. However, you may not fully utilize their network due to some CDMA towers and may lose 3G. You either get LTE or no signal depending on your area. The only way you can test is to give it a try.
