GT 650M with 500M or 1G?

I'm wondering what incremental performance advantage the 1G of video ram will give me (comparing the two non-retina MBP options.) I'm not particularly interested in gaming, but I am interested in how much incremental benefit Photoshop will see with the 1G (or any other OpenCL type computing for that matter.) Anybody have any learned opinions on the matter?
