GT 750m VS GTX 570m

Since I am expecting a new rMBP to come out today with a 750m, I wondered how much of an improvement it would be over my 3 year old MSI with a 570m.

Surprisingly after looking around, it seems that the 750m is actually not better at all and if anything slightly worse (in terms of gaming).

You're disappointed that it *might* have a chip slower than a 570m? Why not wait until you actually know what it is? Maybe it will have the option for a 775m (that's the rumor I heard, and it's the one in the IMac).

Yes, because the 750m is the most likely option. I find the 775m a very remote possibility and can find no previous threads or rumors that point to using it other than the fact it was used in the iMac.


EDIT: And now it looks like leaked specs (possible) are out confirming my expectations.

Yikes the GTX 570M has a TDP of 75watts, not a portable laptop grade chip at all...
