GTA IV on my macbook pro?

I consider buying GTA IV - but is there any hope it will ever run properly on my mac?

It's the new late 08 macbook pro, 2.4 ghz standard configuration

it will run,but not sure at wot settings.but id think decent enuff to look good etc.

I doubt it. Even people with high-end systems are finding it is very intensive. Also, there are a lot of issues with the game right now on Windows. I'd never recommend buying a Mac for gaming.

works

Using an early 2008 MBP and it works on low-med. Getting 20-30 fps. Looks kinda like GTA SA on really high. Some minor problems, a few seconds slow downs here and there. Not a bad game.

I doubt that too. You should run it on Xbox or PS3 or PC. It takes a lot of resources..
