GTX 285 for 2006 1,1 Mac Pro?

Is the GTX 285 Mac Edition compatible with the 2006 1,1 Mac Pro? All the eBay links for the GTX 285 Mac Edition cards all say - 2008, 2009, 2010 Mac Pro.



Can anyone confirm the GTX 285 Mac Edition does, indeed, work in the 2006 1,1 Mac Pro?

Won't work due to being EFI64-only. Only way I can imagine to make it work is "chameleoning" your MP to emulate 64 bit EFI.
