GTX 285 + Fresh Snow Leopard = Sluggish performance!

So.. I bought a GTX 285, installed a fresh install of Snow Leopard amd now Expose and anything remotely 3D is sluggish as hell...

i play Wow as well and im getting terrible FPS compared to the 4890 I was using before... something is NOT right..

Any thoughts here before I lose my marbles?

Have you rebooted since you've installed SL? I read on another thread that they noticed things speeding up after a few reboots.

2009 Mac Pro Quad w/ GTX-285 and no issues whatsoever. Exposé and Dashboard are smooth, system response is terrific. Some have complained about graphical glitches with Safari's Top Sites, but I'm not seeing any glitches at all here. Works like a dream!

Try to reset the SMC by leaving the machine unplugged for about 30 secs; then reset the PRAM.
