I have a flashed Zotac AMP! GTX 650 that has 4 legacy connectors on it, 2x HDMI and 2x DVI.
I've never had a card that allowed 4 displays without having native or active display port connections involved.

I had been running 2 displays for a long time, and recently made some desk changes to allow 4 displays to be connected.
Now I've got 2 displays using HDMI to HDMI, 1 display using DVI to HDMI, 1 display using DVI to DVI.
When booting 10.13.6 (webdriver, haven't checked native) or 10.14 (native obviously) it seems that most of the time it will hang on booting, seemingly being WindowServer that is hanging instead of loading.
I'm able to ssh into the machine from another mac but no screen-sharing possible as the GUI is having issues loading. Only solution is reboot in that case.
But, if I disconnect one of the displays, it seems to boot fine.
The other oddity is once booted either with or without all of them being attached typically one display (the HDMI native hannspree one or the DVI->HDMI home made laptop display with video controller that is seen by OSX as a "projector" ) will be black but seen by OSX. The hannspree one is the most common one that is black, by black I mean the display sees no signal and enters power save sleep mode but OSX thinks the display is on and connected.
If I disconnect those two monitors specifically once or twice then output will work properly for all 4 displays.
If I disconnect either the Dell (HDMI) or LG (DVI) displays they seem to have no impact to allowing proper display for the black screens.
While I don't reboot often this seemed strange enough behavior to bring up to the group.
And I'm still shocked to run 4 legacy display connections from a single card.
