There's bound to be a _____gate for the apple watch. Anyone care to wager a guess? Mine is that the digital crown falls off with minimal effort ... "crowngate"

lamination gate.

You can already see air gaps between glas and display in the reviews.
People will be disappointed.

I already said in a thread way back that these manufacturing processes work best on large surfaces.

I expect that it will be more like the first iPads.

I see four major gates:

1. GunkCementsInBandConnectorsGate (might take several months to surface, though)
2. LagActivatingWatchGate (frustrating to check time)
3. CantSeeScreenInSunlightGate
4. TooBasicNotEnoughHardwareFeaturesGate

#1 will be followed by My$500BandIsNotCompatibleWithWatch2Gate since the band connectors will have to be redesigned.

Battery. I know the reports of dictated otherwise, but I fear this will not be the general public's consensus when this thing first launches.

Part of the fun of a new Apple product is discovering bugs/defects that make you feel like you've wasted your money ;)

Already got one now: Toomuchchoices-gate

Seriously, there are just too many combinations and they all look good. I start to think 1 watch is never enough

Decapigate...those darn anti-Apple blogs will have a field day slamming Apple over the random decapitations.

Cracked Screen Gate, as already seen in a different thread on the 38mm models.

Battery Gate, you just know people are going to complain.

Agree. Plus the screen looks really low res. :(

Rash-Gate (Skin irritation from sport bands or medal)

----------

Green-Gate (heart rate sensor is a slightly different color than someone else's)

Rashgate. Every single TV news organization and website will report how millions of buyers are suffering life-threatening rashes from their watch bands. A week later Apple will release a press release noting that they received all of nine reports of irritation, all from men with Dorrito dust trapped between their Sports band and skin.
