Guest Account

I have just set up the guest account for my nephew who's visiting. But when I tried it it asked me for a password to open it . I put in the password for my ordinary account but it didnt accept it. Does anyone know what password I use or better still can I set up the Guest account 'only' not to have a password and how do i do that please

I think by default the guest account has no password. You can make sure by logging into your normal account and going into System Preferences --> Users & Groups and selecting the guest account and removing any password that may be associated with it.

I did before posting and it had one that wasnt mine . I dont know how to find the one they used though ;-)

Can't you just login under your admin account & change the guest accounts password?
