GUIDANCE NEEDED: Any experience with Wi-Fi antennas?

Hi everyone!

SITUATION: I'm in an office building that has spotty Wi-Fi. From my office, I can see the network but can't connect.

Would something like this work?

There are several similar models on Amazon.

To clarify, the wi-fi on my 2015 Macbook Pro does *work*. I just need something that boosts the *range*.

Any tips or guidance gratefully accepted!

Technically it would if it was closer to the transmitter. In the same location though that's questionable.

Personally I'd speak to your network admin about the issue
