This is a guide to jailbreak your ipod touch with 2.x without any pwnage or anything from the dev team(this will work with ipod with 2.0.2 just use the same instructions).
1) You need a bitorret client which can be found at these links. mac: http://www.transmissionbt.com/download.php
windows: http://www.bitlord.com/download.php. After you donwload these for whatever operating system you use.Now time for step 2.
2) Now download these two torrent files firmware 2.0 and 2.0.1 custom firmware(lots of seeders quick download) 2.0 link:http:////thepiratebay.org/torrent/4288442/iPod1_1_2.0_5A345_Restore.ipsw_ipod_touch_2.0_firmware_
2.0.1 custom firmware link:http://www.mininova.org/tor/1681549
3) Now that you downloaded the files that are necessary put them into your torrent client let them download then save them to desktop then open itunes leave itunes
4) Hold down
on a mac and shift on pc then select the firmware file 2.0 then restore the ipod now you need to put ipod into dfu mode: step 1: turn off device. step 2: hold down home and power button for 8 seconds. step 3: let go of power button but continue to hold home button and wait for it to show up in itunes. now install firmware 2.0.1 custom firmware wait for the rainbow apple logo to come up and let it install(SHOULD TAKE WHILE).
5) Your ipod will go right into the firmware not the plug into to itunes the first couple time that you plug it in most likely you will get and error saying that itunes cant connect to ipod just continue to switch usb ports until itunes recognizes(this should not take long for itunes to recognize it) now you have a jailbroken ipod touch.
