Getting ready to start a P40 build, its a 28" model. I am going to go the RC route with this bird i wonder if we have any Flyers or builders here at Macrumors that have any ideas tips or opinions on building one of these? All comments are welcomed.

I'm more of a model rocket man myself. I haven't built such things in many years. I've dabbled in RC aircraft but prefered pre-built RTF. The reason is the old RC saying, "There are only two types of radio controlled planes, those that have crashed and those that will crash." I don't want to spend too much time building something that will likely end up destroyed.
I actually built an RC helicopter but was afraid to fly it because I crashed the first one I bought.
Post a pic when you're done building the P40. I'd like to see it.
