Hello, I have been searching for some time all over the web to find out what is wrong with my garageband.
I have the irig so that i can play my guitar using Gargeband, when i first got it, it worked perfectly, however recently it has stopped, i don't know why this would be. I have listed the following things i have tried, that other threads suggest is the problem in order to rule it out.
- It is not the guitar cord as it works on my amp.
- As you can see from the image i have attached the sound settings are all correctly set up based on all the other tutorials i have looked up in order to fix this problem. ( i also tried every other possibility in the sound settings just to be sure.)
- I have not updated the computer since the last time garageband worked, nor does it need updating as i have checked
- I plug the irig into the headphone port of my computer, i have used it both through an aux cable connected to my amp as well as headphones.
Some help would really be appreciated, as I'm getting so frustrated, it seems everyone having this problem don't get a response. I think the most frustrating thing is that the first time i used it, literally all i had to do was plug it in.
