Guys i have installed this 10.7.2 update and it has made my mac a lot slow...The bootup is now 10 minutes and after that everything is so slow.I cleared caches from libray and also repaired disk permissions. Now the boot up is fine(1 minute still though). Please can any one tell me what else i need to do?I havent taken a time machine backup also ..

Thanks in advance

I guess you will have to boot to the recovery partition and repair disk and permissions there. It used to happen to me when using 10.7.1 and that fixed the problem for me. Good luck

when you reboot and you're at the grey screen (before the apple logo shows up) hold down the option key and you'll be presented with the partition you want to boot from. So you'd just select lion recovery or whatever and hit enter
