Guys that have bought iPhone 5. Have you checked your AT&T bill?

I was looking at my AT&T bill online and noticed something. I want to make sure this is normal so I'm asking if it's happened to anyone else.

When I log into AT&T and go to wireless, I click on add or change services. I go down to web, text and more and it shows unlimited data iPhone. My unlimited data has an expiration date.

Is this normal? Is this where it expires to go to LTE unlimited? Or am I being kicked off of my unlimited data?

On my bill n apples website it still says unlimited. When I text #data* I get 32xx of unlimited. What the heck is going on here?
 
Thats the date they are kicking you off of Unlimited data.....



Just kidding, I am not sure what that means, try calling AT&T?
 
could be the LTE... I hope I just checked mine and that is what it has also.. I thought we were able to keep it and get the lte
 
I called about this this morning.

What happens is the new iPhone 5 data plans are listed as iPhone LTE data plan, whereas, right now, you have an iPhone Data plan. (I have the 4GB iPhone 3G Tethering Plan, a third category).

When you activate the new phone, it will cancel that data plan and sign you up for an unlimited LTE data plan that only existing unlimited people can get, and the price will be the same as the price is now.
 
Weird... I see this on one of my lines but not on the other. I purchased new iPhones for both, the only difference is that one of the lines' contract had already expired. The one that had expired is the one that is now showing the expiration date. I am going to throw a serious bitch fit if this is true! :mad:

just got off with chat she said as long as you talk to cs we should not loose the unlimited.

and I think as someone previous mentioned that it will be labelled differently as it is becoming a lte not a 3g data plan.
 
I'm hoping it's just an LTE thing. Let me know what you guys find out.
 
Just got off the phone with AT&T. Bitch fit averted, it's related to LTE. It's just changing the plan code or whatever they use to track things in their system. It will still be a $30 unlimited data plan.

I wonder how this will affect the people like me who opened a third line in the family plan for the upgrade.
 
I checked my phone line with the unlimited data plan and it doesn't have an expiration date.

I checked my other phone line(which we upgraded it IP5, that has "DataPlus 300MB for iPhone 4S" and it has says "Expiration 11/09/2012"

hmm. also, The only option I saw when I upgraded on that line was the $20, 300mb plan, and not the old $15, 200mb plan, did they phase that plan out?
