GV mobile help

so my account got suspended till i can pay the bill on monday. Im trying to use GV (data still works, just cant call/text), i got the phone GV extension and i try to 'direct dial' with that, but it uses the dang carrier and i cant call.

can i possibly call/text using GVmobile+ and phone GV extentions, or did i waste my money on these apps.

Google Voice is NOT a VOIP app. You must have an active line. You CAN text, though. Your friends will see the GV number, however.

Wouldn't Talkatone work with Google Voice? I've got it all set up on my phone but haven't used it yet. I was under the impression that you can use your google voice extension over 3G/wifi to make and receive calls.

get talkatone from the app store. its free.

yeah...when i turn the wifi off, GV goes offline.
