Why do we have to know who's pregnant? I think that her personal life is her own business. Seams like every time someone famous gets pregnant the press is all over it. This really annoys me, there are way more important things to worry about these days. The press is in a sad place right now.

Hmmm... I wouldn't have known about it until you posted a thread on it.

Unless it was a pop-up ad, I'd just ignore the 10 word headline.

Here's to the Crazy Ones

Don't blame the press, blame the pathetic losers who can't get enough of reading/hearing about what's going on in celebrities' personal lives. Perhaps if they had something going on in their own lives...

I never figured out peoples' fascination with the personal lives of celebrities. Who cares? My life is interesting enough for me not to worry about theirs.

WTFs going on here. If this was a piece about Steve Jobs no-one would complain.

It's not about Steve Jobs.

But she's really hot.

Moan about ugly people.

*shrug*

Ladies - gossip, marriage, babies.
Men - porn, cars, sports.

The closest a pregnant Gwen can come to exciting guys would be it fitting roughly in the "porn" category. Other than that it's completely outside the realms of anything of interest to us unless she takes up motorsport :p.

I would be doing some serious complaining is Steve Jobs was pregnant .

Although the possibilites of a cloned Jobs/Ives hybrid Apple employee are intriguing......

Same with me. Their personal lives are their own business. If I was a celebrity I would keep to myself as much as I could. I would be very aggravated if I got any press about my personal life.

It seems to me that celebrity worship, or simply celebrity fascination, is a harmless hobby. I have one No Doubt tune in my iTunes Library but have no particular interest in Gwen herself.

But clearly people like to follow news about the lives of famous people and find it a thrill to see or meet celebrities in person.

I definitely agree that in concept celebrity worship is no big deal - but many of us here are fairly private people and the thought of being pursued by photographers and rabid fans is horrible to me. I would not want to be that famous.

If I was famous I would probably behave like Russel Crowe.:p

I liked her when she was the front woman for No Doubt. However, when she went solo she just did not impress me at all. She was nothing special IMO as a solo artist.

I feel the same way, except I have Block out pop-up ads. So I do not even see those. It's this great feature in Safari and FireFox that is in use for sometime now. ;) :)

okay, so it's not particularly 'interesting' as such, but it's still nice to know..

I've got a few No Doubt tunes and even a couple of her solo songs. She seems like a nice person, so I'm happy for her. Hopefully you guys are too :)

(plus, you know she's totally gonna be the coolest mom ever ;))

I liked some No Doubt but I didn't know her name or anything about her. I think I heard one of her songs once that was an insult to everything that music stands for. at least the name rings a bell...
