Hi folks. How do people feel about sweat and this model? I want to use it in the gym for the interval apps, but concerned about sweat damaging..I mean, I'm not like doing Mojave-desert perspiration here or anything, just normal. I'd probably keep it tucked in my pocket or waistband

I'd suggest you get a decent case to help protect it. A leather pouch might do the trick and it's inexpensive. You would have to slide the iPod in upside down for access to the headphone jack, but that isn't an issue. I have one of these cases for 6 months and it's holding up fine so far.

iPod Shuffle is perfect for exercise. Inexpensive basically disposable.

For my 5s I have the Armpocket armband. It's a fantastic armband and I always use it in the gym. It's well worth the money and is well made.

I like using an armband as it puts the iPhone within easy reach and it's securely on my arm where it can't fall out of a pocket or off a treadmill.

It provides excellent protection from sweat. After a sweaty gym session, there is no sweat seepage into the inside of the armband where the iPhone sits.

This armband will fit your iPod Touch:
