I just bought my new Apple Watch a week ago. After reading several reviews for gym apps I downloaded Gymaholic.

With some work this could be a good app. When I tried to save it to the doc it doesn't work. Another pain point for me is you can't move the order of exercises around in a workout. There are several training videos that Gymaholic has published, but they're not well done and there is no audio.

Has anyone found a better app for their gym workouts? Thanks!

You can't re-order them, but you can easily do them out of order. Just scroll down to the list of excercises and select the one you want to do. you can then go back and do one before it if you want to, the coloured bar at the left of the exercises indicates if you've completed all the sets or if you need to do more.

Will take a look at Fitness Point Pro as well, though it hasn't yet been updated for Watch OS 3 (or iOS10). Last update was 7th of July.

I've been using Gymaholic few weeks now and the resent version is very good. No syncing problems or not a single crash. It's very easy to select the exercise you want. Just pick it from the list. YouTube videos could be better though.

Fitness Point Pro

Great reviews on this app. Been training for a long while on and off and I can honestly say this is a GREAT application, even at $0.99US. looking further into health apps.

This one has perfect settings: set/reps/weights tracking scaling progress, logs (success/failure points, notes) even supersets!

Now ... we need 'cadence' for reps for those pain points to push through when muscles fatigue and the mind believes in that to stop: gotta push further! Also needs auto countdown timer within a set for the rest periods pre-set and possibly recommended timer (with alarm) for such rests in-between sets to keep heart rate going.

Hey I am trying to figure out if going pro on gymacholic app will give you more exercise to work with, that's the only thing preventing me from moving on from Jetfit

I believe pro lets you add your own exercises that aren't already in the database.

I installed gymaholic and when I force touch I only get tips and no other options.

Aren’t we suppose to get sync to iPhone, exercises and other options?
You need to first add your workout to your iPhone and then sync it to the watch.

I’m using the beginner workout, which is already on the iPhone and watch. Wonder if that is the issue?
Sorry but did you actually start the workout? Because that's when the force touch options become available (such as pausing, adding a set etc.), otherwise in the main menu, you only get "tips" by force touching
